FROM MR. HUNT
Thank you to all who supported the elementary concert with Steve James. I've had several parents who commented it was one of their favorite events. Your students did an amazing job and your support is very appreciated. I've had a couple parents ask if there is another way to get a copy of his music if they weren't able to pick it up at the concert. If you are interested you can email me, and I'd be happy to contact Steve James for you.

BUSINESS SPONSOR SPOTLIGHTS
Mr. Bingham is very grateful to his class sponsors, Aaron and Tiffany Garrity. Says Mr. Bingham, “They have helped our class in so many ways. We have been able to purchase classroom supplies and experience the BYU Shakespeare production. We have also gone to JA Biztown and have scheduled field trips to the Planetarium as well as the Christa McAuliffe Space Center. In addition, they donated to our Christmas stocking endeavor in November, we were able to fill 10 stockings because of their generosity, as well as that of others. I have the best class sponsors in the school. They are great people who are willing to help in any way that they can. I couldn't be more happy.”

Mrs. Webster feels fortunate to have two wonderful sponsors for her classroom this year: Brad and Jennifer Wilson, and Brett and Carol Bailey. “As a class we feel very indebted to our sponsors for their generosity which has provided so many wonderful things for us. Part of our funds went to purchase sets of classical architectural blocks that we will use each year for our Ancient Rome Unit. The children had a great time using them to design buildings in the style of Ancient Rome, and the blocks really helped the children understand the elements of Rome's architecture. We will also use our funds to go on some amazing field trips, which will include seeing the plays “A Christmas Carol” and “Beauty and the Beast”, visiting the Clarke Planetarium, and going to the zoo. The remainder of our funds are used to enjoy many engagement activities like "A Victorian Christmas Afternoon", "Searching for Gold in El Dorado", and "Triangular Trade". We do many of these types of activities all year long to help reinforce what we are learning. A huge thanks to our sponsors that help make all this possible.”
