PARENT COUNCIL NEWS

Dear Lincoln Families,

Thank you so much for everything you have done this last month at the school. You have helped in the classroom with Thanksgiving feasts and other events, gone on field trips, donated to our Mobile Technology Fundraiser, and donated to Teacher Appreciation Week and the Box Top Store. I am sure I am leaving something out, but regardless, you all make this a great school for our kids!! Thank you!!!

This month, we are asking you to remember and contribute to the canned food drive at the school. I have never been more touched in my life then when I once took youth to serve at a homeless shelter for families. It was truly a humbling experience. Let us all remember charity and give as we can during this Christmas season.

"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." -Mother Teresa

May you all have a truly wonderful Holiday Season.

Parent Council President

VOLUNTEERING AT LINCOLN

Parent volunteers are an important part of the success of Lincoln Academy and are very much appreciated!

- To find volunteer opportunities, please visit Lincoln Academy's website, click on the tab at the top of the home page that says "Volunteer", and then click the "I Can Help!" button associated with the position(s) you would like to volunteer for. An email will be sent to Mrs. Kinkade who will either contact you or the person who is in charge of the volunteer need will contact you.

It's really important to our opportunities for grants and other funds that we record our volunteer hours.

- To record your volunteer hours, click the [Log On] on the opportunities page in the upper right corner.  Click "Register" to set up your account. Complete the account information and click "Register".

You will receive an email that your account has been registered. Once the email is received by you, you may go back to the [Log On] and proceed to log your volunteer hours.

DOLLAR DRESS DAYS
