Dear Parents:

Thank you for your support. This has been a very busy time of year. We have had the Spelling Bee, Maturation Program, Lincoln Birthday Celebration, Parent Teacher Conference, Jazz Reading and Inspirations. We have had great support at each of these events and activities.

Basketball

We'd like to recognize our basketball teams. Our Girls Basketball team won the charter school state championship and our Boys Basketball team took 3rd place. It was a great year with great athletes.

St. Patrick's Day - March 17th

Students will be allowed to wear green shirts on March 17th. They must be in uniform pants, but can wear a green shirt that day.

Dear Parents,

January and February were very busy months, and I am so grateful for those who helped with all of our programs! Thank you to everyone who helped provide dinner for Parent/Teacher Conferences and all those who helped with Jazz Reading, Inspirations, Super I-Excel, Box Tops and the Lincoln Birthday Celebration. All the programs were a great success! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make them so successful.

Teacher Appreciation Week will be March 16-20. We have such wonderful teachers here at Lincoln, and we are so grateful for all the time and effort they put in to educating our children! Please be sure to let them know how much they are appreciated.

RETAIL FUNDRAISING

Thank you so much to everyone who has linked their grocery cards, Target cards, and Amazon account to Lincoln Academy! To date we have received over $500 from Smiths, almost $400 from Target, $185 from Amazon and $41 from Ridley's! That's a lot of money coming to our school just from linking our shopping cards! If you haven't done so, please go online and link your Smith's card, Target Red Card, Ridley's card, Macey's card, and Amazon account with Lincoln Academy. Remember...you have to link your Smith's card every year, so if you haven't done that in a while, please do it again. This is an easy way to bring in money to the school!

Before you shop, be sure to visit the school website and click on the Amazon link. By doing this a percentage of your purchase comes back to the school!

You will receive an email that your account has been registered. Once the email is received by you, you may go back to the [Log On] and proceed to log your volunteer hours.

DOLLAR DRESS DAYS

The Parent Council hosts Dollar Dress Days on the first Wednesday of each month. Students bring a dollar for the option to wear free dress. (Appropriate free dress can be found at the end of the uniform policy on the school website.) This free dress day is optional. Students are encouraged to earn their own dollar to pay for their free dress option.
