FROM MR. HUNT

Dear Parents:

I want to thank you for your support. In schools, January and February seem to be a little crazy and heavy on events. The majority of these events are out of our control. The Science Fair, Inspirations, and Jazz Reading contest are all events we participate in and feel give students great opportunities. The disadvantage is that they are scheduled by outside entities who choose to schedule their events in January.

more

Additionally, we have parent teacher conference, re-enrollment and the school lottery. All of this is scheduled by the school, but it is in the best possible time period. We know it is a lot, and we appreciate your support throughout these months.

Parent Teacher Conferences this week:

Remember that Parent Teacher conferences are on Wednesday, February 11th, from 3:00-8:00 and Thursday, February 12th, from 3:00-6:00. The Junior High teachers will only be here the night of February 11th.

As a courtesy to all junior high parents, if you need to meet with a teacher for longer than 5 minutes, please schedule an appointment outside of Parent Teacher Conferences.

We have had a great turnout to our open house and many of our events. We couldn't grow as a school without your support and help.

Thank you for choosing Lincoln and for helping us and your students become better.

-Jake Hunt
