PARENT COUNCIL UPDATE

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication you put into making our school a better place! Thank you for helping in and out of the classrooms, going on field trips, planning parties, bringing in pies for the teachers, and any other way you are helping our school.

Thank you also to all of you who donated coats to our Coat Drive. We were able to collect over 200 coats to donate to the Asian Association Refugee Center! Mrs. Jones has a friend who helps there, and they were in desperate need of coats. Thank you for helping to give warmth to those less fortunate. They were greatly appreciated!

We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a fun and busy new year!

INSPIRATIONS

The Inspirations Art Program is ready to Begin!

"What a Wonderful World" is our theme this year and we are excited to see how the students are inspired to project what they see through their works of art.

Projects will need to be turned in during the final weeks of January to the Inspirations committee. Final dates are TBD but we will keep you informed.

Category rules and details can be found on the Inspirations website charterinspirations.blogspot.com as well as the Entry Form.

Each student can enter once in each category with one Entry Form submitted with each.

How you can help as a parent/adult:

more

It is important that all projects are inspired, created, and completed by the individual student as outlined in the rules for each category. However, adults can help by keeping the students informed on guidelines and deadlines and making sure all paperwork is filled out correctly.

Your Inspirations Committee is here to help:

more

- To find volunteer opportunities, please visit Lincoln Academy's website. You can find the volunteer link under "Quick Links" on the left side of the main page. Log on and then click the "I Can Help!" button associated with the position(s) you would like to volunteer for. An email will be sent to Mrs. Kinkade who will either contact you or the person who is in charge of the volunteer need will contact you.

It's really important to our opportunities for grants and other funds that we record our volunteer hours.

You will receive an email that your account has been registered. Once the email is received by you, you may go back to the [Log On] and proceed to log your volunteer hours.

DOLLAR DRESS DAYS
